The neighbourhood

Cassels' Toronto office sits in the Bay Adelaide Centre's North Tower, on Temperance Street in the city's Financial District. The firm moved there in 2023, taking the building's upper five floors after 35 years at Scotiabank Plaza on King Street West. The North Tower opened in 2022 and also houses Scotiabank's global head office, and like the rest of the Bay Adelaide complex it connects to Toronto's underground PATH network.

The new office was designed around what the firm calls equality of access to daylight: private offices moved from the windows to the interior of each floor, so meeting rooms and common spaces get the view instead. The space also includes a wellness centre with exercise equipment for staff.
