About Farzad

Farzad Forooghian is the founder and managing lawyer of Forooghian + Company Law Corporation, established in 2016, with a practice covering corporate law, securities law, mining law, and mergers and acquisitions. Before founding the firm, Forooghian was a partner at McCullough O'Connor Irwin LLP and Bennett Jones LLP, and earlier practised as an associate and then partner at McMillan LLP, where Forooghian also articled. Forooghian holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of British Columbia (2005), a Certificate in Mining Law from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University (2012), and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Accounting from McGill University (2001). Forooghian serves on the TSX Venture Exchange's Local Advisory Committee and the BC Securities Commission's Corporate Finance Advisory Forum.
