Zel Law is a Toronto based civil litigation and dispute resolution firm founded by Yeliz Elénore Beygo, called to the Ontario bar in 2024. Beygo holds a law degree from the University of Ottawa's French Common Law program (2022) and a political science degree from the University of Toronto (2017), and articled and summered at the Ministry of the Attorney General's Crown Law Office Civil, on matters that included the Robertson class action and the Connor Homes appeal. The firm's name combines the "Z" in Yeliz with "El" from Elénore, a pairing meant to evoke "zealous," the legal ethics term for strong advocacy within the bounds of the law.
The practice stays narrow on purpose: only civil litigation and dispute resolution, covering real property and real estate disputes, business and commercial disputes, and wills, estates, and capacity disputes, before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Small Claims Court, the Landlord and Tenant Board, and other administrative tribunals.
