Rochon Genova LLP is a litigation firm in downtown Toronto, founded in 1999 by Joel Rochon and Vincent Genova. The office at 121 Richmond Street West sits near Osgoode Hall and the Ontario Court of Appeal. Rochon, called to the Ontario bar in 1988, has acted as lead or co-lead counsel in class action cases involving securities, consumer protection, competition law, and product liability. Genova, called to the bar in 1989, holds a Certified Specialist designation in Civil Litigation, served as a Deputy Judge of the Ontario Superior Court's Small Claims Division from 2005 to 2015, and taught Civil Procedure as an adjunct professor at Osgoode Hall Law School. The firm's aviation work includes a lawyer who served as counsel to the inquiry into the 1989 Air Ontario crash at Dryden, and it currently represents family members of passengers aboard Ukraine International Airlines Flight PS752.
