About Peter
Peter Ivanyi joined the firm in 2000 as an income partner and practises immigration and refugee law alongside family law. He appears regularly before the Immigration and Refugee Board, the Federal Court, and Ontario's Superior and provincial courts, and has argued numerous reported immigration appeals. Peter earned his BA in political science from the University of Toronto and his LLB from the University of Manitoba, and he was called to the Ontario bar in 1996. He belongs to the Canadian Bar Association's family law and immigration sections and the Refugee Lawyers Association. Peter speaks English and Hungarian.
