About Vincent

Vincent Genova is a founding partner of Rochon Genova whose practice centers on catastrophic and personal injury litigation, class actions, long and short term disability claims, aviation, and insurance disputes involving municipalities and automobiles. His personal injury work covers everything from fatal accidents and severe brain and spinal cord injuries to chronic pain claims, and he leads the firm's aviation law group representing plane crash victims and their families. On the defence side, he has handled national class actions for one of Canada's largest payday loan companies. Vincent earned a B.A. in Criminology and Sociology from the University of Toronto in 1984 and an LL.B. from the University of Western Ontario in 1987, was called to the Ontario bar in 1989, and became a Certified Specialist in Civil Litigation in 2003. He served as a Deputy Judge of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Small Claims Division, from 2005 to 2015, and later taught civil procedure as an adjunct professor at Osgoode Hall Law School. He is fluent in English and Italian.
