About Peter
Peter Jervis is a partner at Rochon Genova whose work centres on securities litigation, class actions, complex commercial and financial disputes, and constitutional and administrative law. He has argued before arbitration panels, tribunals, and courts nationally, with multiple appearances at the Supreme Court of Canada, and has also appeared before provincial securities commissions and partnered with US counsel on cross-border matters. Much of his class action work involves primary and secondary market liability claims against public issuers of securities. He studied at the University of Toronto, Cambridge, and Queen's University, and earned an LL.M. from Osgoode Hall Law School. He was called to the Ontario bar in 1983 and lectures regularly on securities and class action litigation.
