About Rabita

Rabita Sharfuddin is an associate in Rochon Genova's class actions practice group, litigating consumer protection, product liability, securities, and negligence class actions. She regularly appears before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and has assisted with Court of Appeal matters, along with internal investigations and proceedings before the Ontario and British Columbia Securities Commissions. Before joining Rochon Genova, she practiced at two national firms representing corporations, directors and officers, and individuals in commercial disputes. Rabita volunteers with the Pro Bono Ontario Free Legal Advice Hotline and mentors students at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2019 and holds a Juris Doctor (cum laude) from the University of Ottawa. She speaks English and Bengali.
