About Nahid
Nahid Atrchin is an associate at Rochon Genova working in the firm's civil sexual abuse and Indigenous rights practice groups. Her work focuses on advancing claims for survivors of sexual abuse against individuals, institutions, and religious organizations, and she also acts for First Nations on constitutional, regulatory, and transactional matters. Before joining the firm, she worked at the Ministry of the Attorney General's Crown Law Office - Civil, handling litigation involving Crown liability, class actions, and Indigenous claims. Nahid holds an LL.M. in Canadian Common Law from Osgoode Hall Law School and was called to the Law Society of Ontario in June 2022. She was previously called to the Iranian Central Bar Association in July 2013, where she practiced as an associate and later a sole practitioner litigating estate and construction fraud cases before Iranian courts, including the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court.
