The neighbourhood

The Toronto office sits in the Sun Life Centre at 150 King Street West, a 28 storey tower built in 1984 at the corner of King and University in the heart of the Financial District. Sun Life Financial used the building as its headquarters until it moved to One York in 2017, and the tower still connects directly to the underground PATH network and St. Andrew subway station, handy for a litigation practice whose lawyers regularly move between courts across the Greater Toronto Area.

The firm's roots, though, are in Vancouver, where it still operates from Cathedral Place at 925 West Georgia Street, built on the site of the demolished Georgia Medical Dental Building, once known as Vancouver's first Art Deco skyscraper.
