About Chelsea
Chelsea Bailey is an associate in the Commercial Real Estate Practice Group at Singleton Urquhart Reynolds Vogel LLP. She advises clients on commercial real estate acquisitions and sales, property development, and financing arrangements for lenders and borrowers, with particular attention to helping government institutions develop and finance social and supportive housing. Before joining Singleton, Chelsea practised law in Australia for several years, working with institutional and private property developers, corporate advisory clients, and lending institutions on property transactions. She earned her Bachelor of Arts with honours from Queen's University in 2008 and her Juris Doctor from Bond University in 2012, and was admitted as a solicitor in Queensland and before the High Court of Australia that same year. Chelsea was called to the British Columbia bar in 2021 and currently serves as Vice Chair of the Canadian Bar Association's Real Property Section.
