About Dana
Dana Duncan is an associate in the Commercial and Business Litigation practice group, bringing more than 25 years of civil litigation experience with a focus on insurance and commercial disputes. On the insurance side she handles subrogated recovery actions, coverage opinions, and defence work in property damage and personal injury cases, including catastrophic injuries and sexual abuse claims, while her broader docket takes in construction law, product liability, professional negligence, class action defence, shareholder disputes, defamation, creditors' remedies, and wrongful dismissal. She was called to the British Columbia bar in 1997 after earning her law degree from the University of Victoria in 1996. Earlier in her career Dana served as Provincial Crown Counsel handling criminal defence matters and appeared before the BC Review Board on behalf of the Attorney General, and she is a longstanding former member of the Canadian Bar Association.
