About Robert
Robert Hodgins is a partner in the Vancouver office and chairs the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia Practice Group at Singleton Urquhart Reynolds Vogel, where he has practised litigation for over 25 years. His work covers motor vehicle claims, personal injury, construction, professional liability, insurance defence, and commercial litigation, and he has represented ICBC along with architects, engineers, accountants, and directors and officers in professional liability matters. In the construction area he handles builders' liens and complex construction disputes, and in his personal injury practice he has acted for both plaintiffs and defendants in catastrophic claims, Family Compensation Act claims, and underinsured motorist protection claims. He has appeared before the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal of British Columbia and represented clients in mediations and arbitrations. Robert was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1994 and holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Western Ontario.
