About Niman Mamo LLP

Niman Mamo LLP is a Toronto family law firm with a practice restricted entirely to family law work: divorce, property division, parenting and custody, child and spousal support, marriage contracts, cohabitation agreements, adoption, and child protection. Founding partners Richard Niman and Christopher Mamo lead a team of six partners, along with associates and law clerks, from an office on University Avenue in downtown Toronto. Niman was called to the bar in 2011 after completing a joint JD/LLB program through the University of Ottawa and Michigan State University College of Law, and developed a family law focus after joining Niman Gelgoot and Associates LLP in 2014.

Mamo, a Gold Medal graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University who also studied at Western University, trained in dispute resolution and collaborative practice, and works on complex financial disputes and high conflict parenting cases. Harold Niman, who joined the firm as counsel, is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers with trial experience reaching the Supreme Court of Canada.
