About Harold

Toronto Life Magazine named Harold Niman the city's top divorce lawyer in 2009, and he is regularly listed among the lawyers most recommended in the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory. His files span the full spectrum of separation and divorce work, from complicated financial issues to custody disputes and mobility cases, and his trial work has taken him before courts at every level, up to and including the Supreme Court of Canada. He was appointed a dispute resolution officer within the Ontario Superior Court of Justice's Family Law Division. Niman previously taught the Ontario Bar admission course, contributed to Osgoode Hall Law School's family law and trial practice programs, prepared materials for the Canadian Bar Association and the Law Society of Upper Canada, co-chaired continuing legal education programs for family law practitioners and judges, edited and co-authored a family law evidence textbook, and is recognized as a Fellow within the American College of Trial Lawyers, having received the Law Society's long-term achievement award for continuing legal education.
