About Julia
Julia Belton was called to the bar in 2024 after completing a judicial clerkship at the Federal Court, where she worked primarily on immigration and refugee law matters. Since then she has practised exclusively in family law, having worked at another downtown Toronto firm before joining Niman Mamo LLP. Her family law practice covers all areas of the field, and she brings a compassionate, people-centred approach to her work with clients. Belton can assist clients in French and English and can also communicate with clients in Spanish. She graduated magna cum laude from the French Common Law JD program at the University of Ottawa, where she completed a bilingual internship at the university's Community Legal Clinic. Before law school she earned a bachelor's degree with great distinction in Psychology, minoring in French, at the University of Windsor.
