About Alexa
Alexa Cohen joined Niman Mamo LLP in April 2026 and has practiced exclusively in family law since her call to the bar in 2024. She started her career at a boutique Toronto firm, gaining broad experience across family law matters, and now represents clients in parenting disputes, child and spousal support, and property division. She takes a practical, client-focused approach to what are often difficult and personal legal issues. Alexa holds dual Canadian and American JD degrees from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, where she provided pro-bono services through the school's legal clinic. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from the University of Western Ontario.
