Sprigings Intellectual Property Law is a small intellectual property firm in Toronto, founded in 2009 by Warren Sprigings. The firm focuses on patent and trademark litigation, with particular depth in pharmaceutical patent disputes under the Patented Medicines (Notice of Compliance) Regulations. It also advises pharmaceutical and food and beverage companies on regulatory matters before Health Canada, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, and provincial formularies, and has over 25 years of experience in trademark prosecution, opposition, infringement, and validity work. Its lawyers, patent agents, and trademark agents have appeared before the provincial courts, the Federal Courts, and the Supreme Court of Canada, and the firm counts more than 150 years of combined intellectual property experience across more than 500 proceedings.

Many of the firm's lawyers have scientific degrees in addition to their law degrees, which the firm says helps it work through the technical detail behind patent disputes in industries such as regulatory matters, food, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices. Sprigings was called to the Ontario bar in 1992 and is a registered Canadian Patent and Trademark Agent, as well as a registered U.S. Patent Agent, after earning a B.A.Sc. and an LL.B. from the University of Ottawa. The 12 person team works out of a single Toronto office.
