About Alexandre

Alexandre Lavoie is an associate whose recent work includes matters under the Patented Medicines (Notice of Compliance) Regulations. He earned his J.D. from the University of Ottawa in 2019, after completing a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences with an emphasis in medicinal chemistry at the same university in 2016. During law school, he volunteered at the Ottawa Legal Information Centre, helping self-represented litigants navigate the court system, and served as Executive Editor of the Ottawa Law Review in his third year. He also competed in a moot court focused on language rights, arguing on behalf of francophone rights in British Columbia. Alexandre was called to the Ontario bar in 2020.
