During the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic, several of the firm's associates volunteered on Pro Bono Ontario's phone hotline as calls about employment and housing problems climbed sharply.
A firm partner provided pro bono legal support in a case that led Antigua and Barbuda's High Court of Justice to strike down the country's criminalization of consensual same-sex intimacy as unconstitutional in July 2022.

The neighbourhood

WeirFoulds' main office sits in the TD Bank Tower at 66 Wellington Street West, part of the Toronto-Dominion Centre in the city's Financial District. The tower opened in 1967, designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe together with John B. Parkin Associates and Bregman and Hamann Architects, and the Ontario Heritage Trust credits the complex with altering the Toronto skyline and helping usher modernist architecture into the city's postwar downtown. The firm has practised from downtown Toronto for more than 165 years.

The firm also keeps a second office in Oakville, on Cornwall Road. Both offices share the same Toronto phone number, and the firm's history and main practice groups are centred downtown, with Oakville giving clients west of the city a closer location to meet.
