About Meghan
Meghan Dureen is counsel whose practice is dedicated entirely to intellectual property law, with particular focus on proceedings under the Patented Medicines (Notice of Compliance) Regulations. She has worked on numerous applications and actions involving pharmaceutical patents, including matters concerning apalutamide, pembrolizumab, aflibercept, brexpiprazole and linagliptin. Before turning to law, Meghan earned a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from the University of British Columbia and a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Toronto, where her research appeared in journals such as the Journal of the American Chemical Society, Inorganic Chemistry and Organometallics. She then completed her J.D. at the University of Toronto and was called to the Ontario bar in 2014.
