About Sandra
Sandra Astolfo is a Partner at WeirFoulds whose practice is devoted entirely to infrastructure and construction law, built over more than 30 years working with clients in the field. Her work ranges from negotiating construction agreements and advising on contract administration to litigating, mediating, and arbitrating disputes, and she also helps clients protect their interests when a project participant becomes insolvent. Sandra is a Fellow of both the Canadian College of Construction Lawyers and the Construction Lawyers Society of America, and the Law Society of Ontario has certified her as a Specialist in Construction Law. In 2019 she became the first woman to receive the Ontario Bar Association's Construction and Infrastructure Law Award of Excellence, and she is consistently recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada and the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory. She was called to the Ontario bar in 1995 after earning her LL.B. from Queen's University and a BA with Honours from York University.
