About Damian

Damian Di Biase is an Associate in WeirFoulds LLP's Commercial Litigation Practice Group, with a practice focused on commercial and civil litigation. Before joining the firm, he practised at a prominent Toronto litigation firm where he independently managed a broad caseload. He has counselled clients on how to handle disputes through litigation, settlement negotiations, or enforcement, covering both insurance and commercial litigation matters, and is a frequent advocate before the Superior Court of Justice on motions and applications, has taken cases to trial in Small Claims Court, and has worked on files heading to the Divisional Court, the Ontario Court of Appeal, and the Alberta Court of Appeal. Damian earned his J.D. from the University of Ottawa, graduating cum laude after completing a litigation practicum and interning with the Department of Justice and the Ontario Court of Justice. He also co-founded the Allies in Law mentorship program and organized a student conference on immigration and refugee policy lobbying. He holds a B.A. from the University of Toronto, where he graduated with High Distinction, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2023.
