Currier earned a law degree from Western University and an electrical engineering degree from Kettering University, was called to the Ontario bar in 1998, and worked as general counsel for a flat panel display company and as IP counsel for a Silicon Valley startup before co-founding PCK. The firm also built its own in-house AI tool, Otto von Pickles, to help run its patent workflows, and it prices much of its work on a flat fee basis.
