Kathy is a registered U.S. patent agent at PCK with more than seven years of experience guiding clients through patent drafting, prosecution, and portfolio strategy. Her technical work covers mechanical systems, video surveillance, lighting control, naval defence, business methods, and software. She is known for strong claim analysis and thorough patentability assessments that produce commercially aligned applications. Before moving into patent work, Kathy spent over a decade at General Motors in roles spanning vehicle simulation, hardware testing, fuel system compliance, and chassis development. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University, with a concentration in Machine Design, and belongs to the Pi Tau Sigma and Tau Beta Pi engineering honour societies.
