About Ashley

Ashley Chu is a lawyer and licensed patent and trademark agent at PCK who advises clients on securing and managing intellectual property across a range of industries. Her practice includes drafting and prosecuting patents and trademarks, portfolio management, and strategic IP advisory work, with particular familiarity in the mechanical, pharmaceutical, and biomedical sectors. She helps clients navigate Canadian, U.S., and international IP systems from initial filing through enforcement and brand development. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2019 and became a licensed Canadian patent agent in 2022, a licensed Canadian trademark agent in 2023, and gained the right to practice before the USPTO in 2024.
