About Tara
Tara Cox helps clients work through complex problems, drawing on experience studying and working in a number of countries that has given her a broad perspective on how different legal systems and cultures approach conflict and change. She is licensed to practise law in both British Columbia and Ontario, with a practice focused on strata property and residential tenancy matters, as well as related housing law issues. Cox acts for strata corporations, property managers, landlords, and individual owners on governance, compliance, and property disputes before tribunals and the courts. She holds an LLB from the University of Birmingham, an MA in Social Change and Development from the University of Newcastle, and a BA in Global Development Studies from the University of Western Ontario, and was called to the bar in both BC and Ontario in 2019.
