About Linting

Linting is an associate lawyer at ATAC Law who obtained his Juris Doctor from the Thompson Rivers University Faculty of Law in 2024. During law school he volunteered with the Law Students' Legal Advice Program, Amici Curiae Friends of Court and the Community Legal Assistance Society, providing services to low-income and vulnerable clients on tenancy, employment, immigration, human rights and small claims matters. He also worked as a law intern at the Provincial Court of BC, conducting legal research and helping edit draft reasons for judgment. Before law school, Linting was a graduate researcher and taught undergraduate courses at UBC, and he worked as a project manager at an international trading company and co-founded a small business exporting Canadian agri-foods. He holds degrees from Sun Yat-sen University, Nanjing University and UBC, and is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia and the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers.
