About Joyce
Joyce Adjei helps clients find practical, efficient solutions to strata disputes, residential tenancy disputes, and property disputes, aiming to simplify legal language and clarify tribunal and court procedures for her clients. She obtained her law degree from Thompson Rivers University in 2019 after articling at a large national firm in downtown Vancouver. Before turning to law, Adjei practised as a Registered Nurse in British Columbia for over a decade, including teaching at a provincial college, and holds undergraduate and postgraduate nursing degrees from Thompson Rivers University and York University. During the pandemic, from 2020 to 2022, she returned to frontline nursing and nurse research work for Interior Health. She also serves as a board member of the BC Community Response Network, which raises awareness to protect vulnerable adults from neglect and abuse, and speaks English and Ashanti-Akan.
