About Anil

Anil Aggarwal practices in the firm's insurance, strata property, and residential tenancy group, with a litigation-heavy focus, and his particular expertise is in strata property matters. He has appeared before the Provincial Court, the Supreme Court of British Columbia, and the BC Court of Appeal, along with tribunals such as the Civil Resolution Tribunal, the Residential Tenancy Branch, and the Human Rights Tribunal. His strata law work touches bylaw enforcement, collections, litigation, governance, human rights, and privacy issues, and more recently he has worked on disputes involving societies, including document disclosure and oppression claims. He also adjudicates for the Employment and Assistance Appeals Tribunal and teaches property law as a visiting professor at Simon Fraser University. Anil summered and articled with the firm, completed a Bachelor of Arts at UBC in 2005, and earned his law degree in 2015. Before becoming a lawyer he worked as a border services officer with the Canada Border Services Agency. In his spare time he enjoys photography, theatre, sports, and finding good brunch spots in Vancouver.
