Oscar Miklos is the founder of Refresh Law and advises strata councils, strata owners, property managers, and residential and commercial landlords and tenants on housing and property disputes across British Columbia. He completed his law degree through McGill University's integrated common law and civil law program and articled at a large regional firm in Montreal. He was called to the Quebec Bar in 2013 and to the Law Society of British Columbia the following year, and worked at a North Vancouver firm focused on housing law before founding Refresh Law in 2020. Miklos grew up in Burnaby and studied political science and French at Simon Fraser University, spending a year on exchange at Sciences Po Paris. He also founded and edits HousingGuide.ca, a free reference site for BC homeowners, strata councils, landlords, and property managers. He speaks English, French, Hungarian, and Spanish.
