About Robert
Robert B. Bayne has been a partner at Filion Wakely Thorup Angeletti LLP since 1996, advising employers across the full range of labour and employment law. He works with private sector clients in retail, hospitality, manufacturing, logistics, and the sports and entertainment industries, and has significant experience managing complex class action litigation. Rob also trains executive groups and regularly speaks to employer groups, HR professionals and students, including at the University of Toronto. Before becoming a lawyer, he worked in human resources and production management at an Ontario manufacturing company. He serves on the board of L&E Global, an international alliance of employment lawyers, and belongs to the International Bar Association and the Canadian Association of Counsel to Employers. He holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce from Dalhousie University and was called to the Ontario bar in 1991.
