About Gurjot
Gurjot Grewal is an associate lawyer at Appiah Law focusing on employment, labour and human rights law. She articled at a Toronto employment law firm before working as an associate at a boutique employment practice, where she represented both employers and employees in wrongful dismissal, layoff, workplace harassment, discrimination and accommodation matters. Her interest in employment law began during her studies at one of India's oldest law faculties. Gurjot is licensed to practise in both Ontario and India, and before moving to Canada in 2022 she represented clients before the provincial appellate court in Chandigarh, handling government employment disputes over recruitment and termination. She is fluent in Punjabi and Hindi and can advise clients in both languages.
