About Karin

Karin works in Goldblatt Partners' research law practice, contributing to rights-based, equity-seeking, and worker-led matters. Before joining the firm she worked on legal ethics, access to justice, and law reform at two national non-profit organizations representing Canada's law societies and legal profession. Earlier, she ran a feminist, community-based legal practice in Ottawa, representing survivors of sexual violence in civil and human rights claims, appearing before tribunals on discrimination matters, and acting as an intervenor for sex worker advocacy groups in the Bedford v. Canada litigation. She earned her law degree from the University of Ottawa in 2005 and later completed an LLM there focused on feminist and gender studies, publishing her graduate research in the Canadian Journal of Women and the Law.
