About Hugues

Hugues Boisvert founded HazloLaw and also leads HazloCapital, overseeing both firms' operations. As a business lawyer he handles mergers and acquisitions, asset and share purchase agreements, financing, and franchise transactions for both franchisors and franchisees. His work also covers international agreements, incorporation of medical and other professionals, and structuring family trusts and holding companies to manage tax implications. He has represented clients across Canada, the United States, Europe, Australia, Africa, and the Middle East, having traveled to more than 50 countries for that work. Hugues speaks as a guest lecturer at the University of Ottawa's MBA program and law faculty, and contributes to legal discussions in the media.
