About Ashley

Ashley Burk (formerly Ashley Dumouchel) is a lawyer and trademark agent who advises on trademark and copyright clearance, protection and enforcement, IP licensing, plant breeders' rights, and domain name matters. She founded Burk Law after practising intellectual property law for a decade at a boutique IP firm, and has represented clients in the fashion, food, cannabis, insurance, high-tech and biotech industries. Her litigation experience includes appearances before the Federal Court of Canada, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Trademarks Opposition Board, as well as domain name dispute proceedings before WIPO and CIRA. She is called to the Ontario bar.
