About Anna
Anna Goldfinch represents trade unions across the public sector, providing practical advice, negotiating solutions to workplace disputes, and regularly appearing on their behalf before arbitrators, at the Ontario Labour Relations Board, and in court. The daughter of a steelworker and a public-school teacher, she was a union activist before becoming a lawyer, including a term as Ontario Representative of the Canadian Federation of Students, where she advocated for hundreds of thousands of students and negotiated the reinstatement of childcare funding for graduate students in Ottawa. She completed the joint BCL/LLB program at McGill University, was named a Blake Scholar, and holds a Master of Arts in Public Administration from Carleton University. She summered and articled at Goldblatt Partners, was called to the Ontario bar in 2020, and then clerked at the Court of Appeal for Ontario for Chief Justice Strathy and Justices Simmons and Thorburn. She is bilingual in English and French.
