About Allan

Allan Dick is a partner at Sotos LLP with more than three decades of experience in franchising, licensing, and distribution law. His litigation work spans every level of court, up to and including the Supreme Court of Canada, along with domestic and international arbitration tribunals. As a registered trademark agent, he also handles trademark litigation and opposition matters, and he regularly gives expert opinions to other lawyers. Allan was among the original members of the OBA's Franchise Law group and its predecessor committees, and he later served as chair of that section. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 1984 and holds an LL.B. from the University of Toronto.
