Construction LawDaniel Hamson is a partner in Sotos LLP's litigation department, managing a broad civil litigation practice with a particular focus on franchising, licensing and distribution disputes. He also represents clients in corporate, commercial and construction disputes and is often called on for fast-moving injunctions. Daniel has appeared before every level of court in Canada, including the Supreme Court of Canada, as well as before domestic and international arbitration tribunals. He moved to Toronto from British Columbia in 2011 to study law, earning his J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2014 and a BA with distinction from the University of Victoria in 2011, and he was called to the Ontario bar in 2015. He volunteers as duty counsel for Pro Bono Law Ontario and sits on the board of Regeneration Community Services.
