About Sarah

Sarah Stothart is a partner in Goodmans' Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group. Her practice spans several areas but centers mainly on complex commercial, insolvency, and intellectual property litigation. She has appeared before every level of Ontario's courts as well as Canadian federal courts and the Supreme Court of Canada. Sarah has also gone before arbitration panels, the Competition Tribunal, the Ontario Energy Board, and, in the US, the Delaware Court of Chancery. She holds licenses to practice law in both Ontario and California. From 2017 to 2019, she served on the board of directors of Newcomer Women's Services Toronto, a nonprofit that provides employment, settlement, and language services to newcomer women.
