About Anna

Anna Thompson-Amadei is a senior associate at Sotos LLP whose practice focuses on franchise disclosure and the transfer process involved in buying and selling franchises and franchise systems across the sectors the firm serves. The role also includes research and analysis to support the legal opinions the firm gives to clients and other law firms in the industry, and fluency in French. Anna earned a B.C.L./LL.B. from McGill University's Faculty of Law in 2018 and a Bachelor of Arts with honours from Carleton University in 2013, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2019. Recognition includes being named a "Legal Eagle" by Franchise Times Magazine from 2021 to 2024, and membership in the Canadian Bar Association, the Law Society of Ontario, the Canadian Franchise Association and the International Franchise Association.
