About Paul
Paul Ives, K.C. has practised law for over 35 years, beginning with the Vancouver office of McCarthy Tetrault, then with the Courtenay firm now known as Ives Burger, and now with the Courtenay office of Ramsay Lampman Rhodes. Paul's practice focuses on business law, including corporate reorganizations and asset and share purchase transactions, real estate acquisitions and dispositions, construction law, and wills and estate planning. Paul served as Mayor of the Town of Comox from 2008 to 2018, was appointed Queen's Counsel in 2015, holds an LLB from Dalhousie Law School and a BA from Queen's University, and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1988.
