About Aniel

Aniel Datoo moved to the Comox Valley at a young age and graduated from Georges P. Vanier Secondary in Courtenay. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Victoria before attending the University of Ottawa for law school, then completed his articles with the Toronto office of a large national firm before returning to the Comox Valley to join Swift Datoo in 2006. His practice focuses on the needs of small business owners, including advice on purchasing, operating, and selling businesses, and he also advises employers and employees on workplace rights, appearing regularly before the Supreme and Provincial Courts of BC, the Employment Standards Tribunal, and the BC Human Rights Tribunal. He is a past president of the Comox Valley Community Justice Centre and a former director of the Comox Valley Community Foundation.
