Real Estate LawDonna Kydd has practised law for over 40 years, including 31 years running her own boutique practice combining Aboriginal law, general civil litigation, and solicitor's work before joining Ramsay Lampman Rhodes. Her Indigenous law work includes drafting land codes, bylaws, and election procedures, assisting with reserve additions and specific claims, and negotiating settlements over forestry roads and rights of way. Her solicitor's practice also spans corporate and business law, estate administration, intellectual property, and real estate. Before starting her own practice in 1981, she worked with the Justice Development Commission, the Union of BC Indian Chiefs, and Ratcliff & Company on First Nations litigation and research. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from Dalhousie and a BA from the University of New Brunswick, and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1981.
