About Lisa

Lisa Bellano is an Associate at MacIsaac & Company with a general civil litigation practice, including corporate-commercial, real estate, family, and administrative law matters. Before joining the firm, she led legal research on child and youth capacity issues, and during law school she interned with the Stephen Lewis Foundation and worked as a clinician at both the Law Students' Legal Advice Program and the UBC Indigenous Community Legal Clinic. She earned her law degree at the University of British Columbia, where she was assistant editor of the UBC Law Review and associate editor of the Canadian Journal of Family Law, and she articled at two national law firms before being called to the British Columbia Bar in 2019.
