About Nicole
Nicole A. McAuley is a Partner whose practice centres on employment litigation, directors' and officers' claims, human rights claims, and professional liability. She advises employers on hiring, discipline, and termination, and drafts related policies, employment agreements, and termination packages. Nicole has represented clients before various levels of Ontario courts, including the Divisional Court, as well as the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal and several professional tribunals. Her matters have included successfully defending a national sports organization at trial, resolving numerous wrongful dismissal claims for employers, and acting as lead counsel on judicial review and summary judgment motions. Nicole earned her J.D. from the University of Manitoba in 2011 and her BA with honours in English Literature from McMaster University, and she was called to the bar in 2012.
