Naomi Greckol-Herlich

About Naomi

Naomi Greckol-Herlich is a lawyer at Goldblatt Partners who works in the firm's research department and is a seasoned litigator in labour, administrative, and criminal law. She has particular experience counselling individuals through workplace investigations and managing the overlap between concurrent proceedings. She was part of a team that secured a directed verdict for a client facing multiple sexual assault charges, and she is the only lawyer to obtain an order anonymizing a member's name in a College of Teachers discipline decision since such publication became mandatory. Naomi attended law school at McGill University, where she received the Blake's Scholar Award, chaired the Queer law students' association OutLaw, worked as a caseworker at a community legal clinic, and interned with Human Rights Watch's International Criminal Justice Program. She articled as a clerk for judges of the Superior Court of Justice in the Central West Region. Before law, she earned a master's degree in world history at Northeastern University and wrote case studies for Harvard Business School. She has also played baseball competitively, including with the Canadian Women's National Team.
