About Lana

Lana Roberts is counsel at McInnes Cooper in Halifax, where she has practised in Canadian business and personal immigration law for over ten years. She advises multinational corporations, small and medium businesses, and individuals on cross-border movement, including temporary and permanent residence and citizenship applications, and helps corporate clients respond to immigration audits and maintain compliance. She earned her Juris Doctor from Dalhousie University in 2010, with studies in Mexico through the North American Consortium on Legal Education, and holds a BA (Hons) in International Relations from Mount Allison University. She was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2011 and has been recognized by the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory for immigration law. She is active with the Canadian Bar Association's national immigration section and its Nova Scotia chapter.
