About Alex
Alex is a Halifax-based partner whose corporate and commercial practice concentrates on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and governance work. She advises both buyers and sellers on transactions of various sizes and structures, including share and asset acquisitions, divestitures, and internal reorganizations, often coordinating the full deal process and advisory team. She also handles acquisition financing and venture capital matters and supports entrepreneurs and growth-stage companies with ongoing corporate needs. Alex earned a combined B.Com./LL.B. (Hons.) from Bond University in 2014 and was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2018. Best Lawyers has listed her in its "Ones to Watch" for corporate law and mergers and acquisitions since 2024, and she serves on McInnes Cooper's Promotion of Women committee.
