Civil Litigation & Dispute ResolutionAdam practises litigation out of McInnes Cooper's St. John's office, concentrating on construction law, procurement, regulatory defence, and commercial disputes. He works with owners, contractors, subcontractors, consultants, municipalities, and insurers across every stage of a construction project, from tendering and contract drafting through to negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and litigation. His regulatory defence work covers clients facing charges under legislation such as the Fisheries Act and occupational health and safety statutes, including investigations, prosecutions, and enforcement proceedings. Adam has appeared before all levels of court in Newfoundland and Labrador and was a co-recipient of the 2019 Provincial Court Judges' Association Award for Criminal Law. He earned his J.D. from the University of New Brunswick in 2019 and was called to the Newfoundland and Labrador bar in 2020, and now coaches the Memorial University Undergraduate Mooting Team.
